Paying tribute to Porsche’s celebrated air-cooled heritage, the 911 Sport Classic is a limited-production model derived from the 992 Turbo, reconfigured with rear-wheel drive, a 7-speed manual gearbox, and a bespoke Heritage Design interior. Distinctive features include a fixed ducktail rear spoiler, a lightweight carbon-fiber hood, a double-bubble roof, and Fuchs-inspired wheels that underscore its retro character.
While it shares its wide-body shell with the Turbo, the Sport Classic adopts closed-off rear intake ducts and dispenses with active aerodynamic elements. Design highlights include an indented carbon-fiber hood, gold-colored badging and lettering, and a ducktail spoiler inspired by the Carrera RS 2.7. Additional heritage cues come in the form of a 1963-style Porsche crest, gold accents throughout, and Manufaktur badges on the front quarter panels.
Number 260 of just 1,250 examples produced worldwide, this 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic—offered for sale on Collecting Cars—is finished in Sport Grey with Heritage Design stripes and side decals. The cabin is trimmed in Saddle Brown leather with houndstooth inserts for the seats and door cards, complemented by Paldao wood inlays.
The car rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Sport Classic center-lock wheels, finished in black with diamond-cut faces and colored Porsche crest caps. These frame Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB) with black calipers and are shod in Pirelli P Zero tires.
