A street-legal derivative of the 964 Carrera Cup race car and a spiritual successor to the original 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7, the limited-production 964 Carrera RS was offered to the European market as a lightweight, high-performance model. Based on the Carrera 2 Coupe, it features a stiffened chassis with a seam-welded bodyshell, Recaro bucket seats, shorter gear ratios, unassisted steering, and more.

Finished in Guards Red, this 1992 example was originally registered in Germany and frequently kept in Spain. Acquired from a previous owner of approximately 25 years, it was recently imported to Ontario. The vehicle is said to have been campaigned in club racing and various vintage rallies.

Within the last 10k kilometers, it underwent a comprehensive engine rebuild with a displacement increase to 3.8 liters and a transmission overhaul by the specialists at Hartmann + Köster in Bielefeld, Germany. Showing approximately 73k kilometers (under 46k miles) on the odometer, this modified Carrera RS is now being offered for auction out of Canada.
