1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S

Available now from The Group B in Miami, Florida is this gorgeous 944 Turbo S. This Porsche 944 Turbo is finished in Light Bronze Metallic over burgundy leather and is one of 1,385 imported to the US market for the 1989 model year. The car is features pop-up headlights, fog lamps, side moldings, an electric sunroof, and an integrated rear spoiler. Paint shows well and is very clean throughout. The car has a clean title and clean car fax. Aluminum 16″ wheels are wrapped in older P Zero Trofeo R tires.

The suspension has been modified with adjustable front Koni coilovers, Ground Control adjustable top mounts, Elephant Racing sport bushings, and replacement sway bar end links. Braking is provided by four piston front calipers sourced from a 928 S4 fitted over 12″ discs. The brake calipers were rebuilt and new rotors and pads were installed in February 2020.

Interior of the car is beautiful and in neat condition. Seats are burgundy partial leather with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include front seats with electric height adjustment, an alarm system, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt Reno cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer.

Mechanically the car is sound and tight. The drive is excellent and everything works as it should. The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter M44/52 inline-four was factory-rated at 247 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a factory limited-slip differential. Clutch is smooth, AC and Heat work well.
