Following a 6-year absence, the 912 rejoined Porsche’s model range in 1976 as a new entry-level sports car to replace the 914, featuring the chassis from a contemporary 911 paired with a fuel-injected 2.0-liter flat-four engine.

This example is one of approximately 2,092 produced exclusively for the U.S. during a single model year. It was reportedly under the care of its original owner for 46 years before being purchased by the second owner in 2022, who oversaw a major restoration.

The car was refinished in White over new tan leather upholstery and features custom tartan cloth seat centers, a Porsche Classic (PCCM) head unit, Boston Acoustics speakers, Bilstein dampers, four-wheel disc brakes, and a 5-speed manual transaxle. Under the care of its third owner, this restored 912E is now being offered for auction out of Arizona.
