This 1974 Porsche 911 Targa was acquired out of California by the seller in 1984, and over the next few years it was modified, refurbished and repainted. An S-specification 2.7-liter flat-six was installed along with Carrera-style pressure-fed tensioners, and along the way a MOMO steering wheel and detachable-faceplate stereo were also fitted.

The car is further equipped with 15″ cookie-cutter alloy wheels, a black removable roof panel, a brushed Targa bar, body-color bumpers, front bucket seats, and a heated rear window. The seller describes the car as a running project that will require both engine work to repair a head bolt issue as well as cosmetic work both inside and out.

Driven ~165k by the seller over the last 41 years, this mid-year 911 is now offered with the owner’s manual, original steering wheel, tool kit, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
