Porsche marked the 25th anniversary of Manthey-Racing with one of its most exclusive customer race cars ever created: the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25. Limited to just 30 examples worldwide, the track-only special edition was jointly engineered by Porsche Motorsport and Manthey-Racing as a celebration of the championship-winning team’s legacy while showcasing cutting-edge motorsport technology.
Like the 2019 Porsche 935, the Clubsport 25 is built upon the formidable 991.2-generation 911 GT2 RS Clubsport platform, retaining its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six that produces 700 horsepower. The engine delivers power exclusively to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission paired with a limited-slip differential.
Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this 2022 example is number 4 of the 30 cars produced and remains an exceptionally rare collector’s piece with just 1,077 kilometers (approximately 670 miles) recorded. Finished in matte gray with silver “25 Manthey” graphics and signature Grello accents, the car combines carbon-fiber bodywork with an aluminum-steel composite structure.
Its bespoke exterior draws inspiration from Porsche’s contemporary factory race cars, incorporating styling cues from the 911 RSR and second-generation 935, including distinctive four-stripe LED headlights, a carbon-fiber hood with integrated cooling ducts and NACA intake, an aggressive swan-neck rear wing, integrated rear spoiler, and functional diffuser.
Purpose-built for circuit performance, the Clubsport 25 rides on forged 18-inch BBS center-lock wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan racing slicks. The suspension borrows heavily from the modern Porsche 935, featuring forged suspension links, spherical bearings, and fully adjustable KW three-way racing dampers, while an integrated air-jack system enables rapid pit service. Stopping power comes from Brembo racing brakes with adjustable brake bias, complemented by driver-configurable ABS, traction control, and stability management.
Inside, the cockpit is uncompromisingly competition-focused, featuring an FIA-compliant roll cage, a carbon-fiber Recaro racing seat with Schroth harness, a fire-suppression system, air conditioning, and a Cosworth digital display with integrated data logging. Race-specific engineering extends beneath the bodywork with a centrally mounted radiator, ATL fuel cell, closed carbon-fiber underbody, race-optimized intercooler spray system, and a revised exhaust designed to balance maximum performance with track noise regulations.
