The 2023 Porsche 911 Dakar represents one of the most adventurous and unconventional evolutions of the legendary 911, seamlessly combining Porsche’s renowned sports car pedigree with authentic off-road performance. Limited to just 2,500 examples worldwide, the Dakar celebrates Porsche’s rally-racing legacy while redefining the capabilities of the modern 911.
Powering this distinctive machine is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 473 horsepower. Mated to Porsche’s lightning-fast eight-speed PDK transmission and advanced all-wheel-drive system, the Dakar delivers the thrilling acceleration and precision expected of a 911.
Engineered specifically for off-road exploration, the 911 Dakar features numerous upgrades that distinguish it from the rest of the 911 family. Increased ride height provides enhanced ground clearance, while a hydraulic lift system allows the car to raise even further when conditions demand.
Bespoke suspension calibration works alongside specially developed all-terrain Pirelli tires, reinforced underbody protection, and durable stainless-steel skid plates, creating a sports car engineered to tackle demanding environments without sacrificing performance.
Currently offered on Bring a Trailer, this particular example—number 424 of the 2,500-unit production run—has accumulated just 136 miles at the time of writing and arrives extensively optioned from the factory.
Finished in the eye-catching optional Roughroads livery as part of the Rallye Design Package, it pays tribute to Porsche’s iconic Rothmans-sponsored rally machines, including the Type 954 and 959 Paris-Dakar competitors of the 1980s.
Its adventure-ready personality is further enhanced by the Extended Rallye Design Package, which adds a roof rack, Porsche fuel cans, integrated LED lighting, a shovel, and other expedition-inspired accessories. Inside, carbon-fiber full bucket seats trimmed in black leather and microsuede feature Shark Blue stitching, blue seatbelts, and embroidered “911” headrests.
White interior accents complement premium amenities such as a High-End Burmester audio system, navigation-equipped Porsche Communication Management, automatic climate control, cruise control, a rearview camera, aluminum pedals, and Porsche-branded floor mats.
