British performance car specialist Talos Vehicles has unveiled the TALOS Porsche 911 RT, an ultra-exclusive, road-legal machine inspired by the iconic Porsche 911 R race car. Limited to just 20 examples worldwide, the handcrafted model blends motorsport authenticity with bespoke luxury, positioning itself as a race car engineered for everyday roads.
Designed and built in the UK, the 911 RT closely mirrors the visual identity of the original 911 R while incorporating extensive engineering revisions to enhance road usability and driving dynamics. Each car will be individually commissioned and tailored to its owner’s specifications, ensuring no two examples are alike.
Jamie Thwaites, managing director of Talos Vehicles and the project’s lead visionary, said the company aimed to create “a road car that feels like a race car and vice versa,” emphasizing a philosophy rooted in “visual authenticity, mechanical honesty and an uncompromising driving experience.”
The 911 RT features a bespoke suspension system developed alongside Swedish performance specialist Öhlins. Its electronically adjustable TTX dampers can be tuned via smartphone, allowing drivers to balance comfort and precision handling according to driving conditions.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated engine producing approximately 540 horsepower, engineered to preserve the character and responsiveness associated with Porsche’s most celebrated driver-focused models. Talos says the powertrain prioritizes engagement and reliability over outright excess.
Visually, the car adopts an aggressive motorsport-inspired design. Using advanced 3D scanning technology, Talos digitally recreated the original race car bodywork and adapted it to fit a modern GT3 RS chassis. Extensive use of exposed carbon fiber — developed with motorsport engineering firm MCT Carbon — reduces weight by around 80 kilograms compared with a standard Porsche GT3 RS.
Inside, the 911 RT balances racing intent with modern comfort. Buyers can fully personalize materials, finishes, and colors through a collaborative design process with Talos, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on craftsmanship and exclusivity.
The launch follows the debut of the TALOS XXT last year and reflects the Yorkshire-based company’s continued expansion into limited-production performance vehicles. Founded with roots in motorsport and defense vehicle engineering, Talos specializes in bespoke classic and high-performance automobiles designed around individual customer visions.
