AutoTopNL pushes the Porsche 911 (992.2) Carrera GTS to its limits on Germany’s unrestricted Autobahn, reaching 330 km/h (205 mph) during a high-speed run. The test highlights the car’s stability, strong acceleration, and ability to maintain composure well beyond 300 km/h, demonstrating the performance potential of the latest GTS.

The updated 992.2 GTS is powered by a 3.6-liter turbocharged flat-six paired with Porsche’s T-Hybrid system, producing about 532 hp and 610 Nm of torque. Power is sent through an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, helping the car accelerate from 0–100 km/h in around 3.0 seconds with a top speed of about 312 km/h (194 mph).

The hybrid setup uses an electric motor integrated into the transmission and an electrically assisted turbocharger to improve response and reduce turbo lag while boosting overall performance.

The Autobahn run demonstrates how the 992.2 GTS blends hybrid technology with traditional 911 performance, raising the question of whether it represents the ultimate balance in the modern 911 lineup—delivering near-Turbo levels of speed with everyday usability.
