Yuri and Jakub from TheStraightPipes review the refreshed 992.2 Carrera Cabriolet, testing its performance, features, and everyday usability. The base model uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing about 388 hp and 331 lb-ft, with power sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed PDK. Updated turbochargers from the previous GTS provide a modest power increase, helping the car reach 0–60 mph in the mid-3-second range.
The facelift brings subtle styling tweaks, including revised headlights and bumpers, along with a fully digital gauge cluster replacing the analog tachometer. Inside, the car gains a GT-style steering wheel, wireless connectivity, and modern driver aids, while still retaining the familiar 911 layout.
On the road, the Carrera Cabriolet feels quick, balanced, and easy to drive fast. Steering feedback remains excellent, the PDK shifts quickly, and the suspension is comfortable enough for daily use even in its stiffest setting. With rear-wheel drive and strong grip, it remains engaging without feeling overwhelming.
