Founded in Los Angeles in 2009, Singer has gained global acclaim for its bespoke restorations of 964-generation 911s. Each car is completely rebuilt and “reimagined” into a refined blend of classic Porsche eras, combining the charm of the 1960s with modern craftsmanship.
Through their Classic program, customers can choose between rear- or all-wheel drive, five- or six-speed transmissions, and virtually limitless personalization. Every Singer restoration is unique—crafted to reflect the owner’s vision with unrivaled craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Completed in the summer of 2015, HK2 was the second Singer Classic Study delivered to Hong Kong and the fourteenth built overall. Created to right-hand-drive specifications for its original Hong Kong owner, the car received direct oversight from Singer founder Rob Dickinson, who was involved in every stage—from initial planning to final delivery.
The car is finished in Dolphin Grey with ghosted blue stripes and matching Fuchs-style wheels. Mechanical features include Öhlins adjustable suspension, a five-speed manual gearbox, and a leather-wrapped roll cage. Other options include exposed fuel and oil filler caps, a grey ceramic-coated exhaust, and nickel-plated bumperettes. The blue theme continues inside with leather trim, carpets, Recaro sport seats with black backs, and a Becker radio.
After the owner moved to the UK, the car went to Singer’s Los Angeles facility for upgrades. Its original 3.8-liter engine was replaced with a 4.0-liter unit, and the exhaust was modified to reduce cabin noise. Tuthill later tuned the suspension for UK roads.
Now maintained by Singer’s approved service partners and its own UK facilities, HK2 is offered through RM Sotheby’s in collaboration with Singer Vehicle Design. It comes fully prepared to Singer’s “Encore” pre-owned standards and includes a complete Singer Vehicle Design warranty.
