This 2011 RUF Rt Roadster is a one-off creation, commissioned by a single original owner and showing just 6,907 miles. Based on the RUF Rt 12 S and inspired by the early Porsche “soft-window” Targa, it reimagines the 1967 concept with modern engineering and bespoke styling.
Powered by a matching-numbers, twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing 600 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, it outpaces even the 911 Turbo S of its era. Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, it delivers both thrilling performance and traction.
Finished in the custom Chroma Flash Hologram Matt, the Rt Roadster features a color-shifting finish that complements its Dark Grey rollbar, color-matched hard top, and 19-inch forged center-lock wheels. Yellow RUF-branded calipers clamp onto carbon brake discs, while RUF-tuned suspension enhances handling.
Inside, Red leather upholstery with Silver stitching is accented by carbon fiber trim and an interior paint package that mirrors the exterior hue. Foldable carbon sport bucket seats, Stone Grey carpets, silver seatbelts, touch-screen navigation, and a BOSE Surround Sound System complete the interior.
Originally delivered to the U.S., it retains its original engine and transmission per its RUF Zertifikat issued in June 2024. The car comes with manuals, service records, and a clean CARFAX. Maintenance from RUF North America included new tires, blinkers, fluid flush, and bumper respray.
This one-of-one RUF Rt Roadster will be offered by Broad Arrow Auctions at their Monterey auction on August 13, with an estimated value of $900,000–$1,200,000.
