The Porsche 918 Spyder redefined what a hybrid hypercar could be by combining a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 with twin electric motors to produce a staggering 887 horsepower and 944 lb-ft of torque.
This hybrid powertrain is paired with a seven-speed PDK transaxle that drives all four wheels, enabling the 918 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 mph. Beyond its stats, the 918 stood out for its precision, driving feel, and flawless integration of advanced systems—delivering an actual Porsche experience at hypercar levels.
Only 918 examples of the 918 Spyder were produced. This example currently listed for sale on Collecting Cars is number 245 and has had just one owner from new. It features a metallic silver exterior with removable roof panels, paired with a Burgundy leather interior highlighted by contrast stitching and aluminum-effect accents.
It rides on staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear multi-spoke alloy wheels, fitted with green brake calipers, carbon-ceramic discs, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Additional features include a reversing camera, touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, front axle lift, and adaptive suspension.
