Porsche has unveiled the latest 911 Turbo S, and Top Gear on YouTube is quick to give us an exclusive first look at the most powerful road-going 911 ever built. At the heart of the new Turbo S lies a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that produces 631 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an electric motor mounted between the engine and the 8-speed PDK transmission, total output climbs to 701 horsepower.

Torque delivery is broader than ever before, with peak output stretching across 3,700 rpm—more than double that of its predecessor. The redline also increases slightly to 7,500 rpm. Interestingly, the Turbo S shares its 3.6-liter block, heads, electric motor, and 400V battery with the 911 GTS. The differences lie in its dual electric turbos, revised intake and exhaust systems, lower compression pistons, and substantially higher boost pressures.

Acceleration is staggering: 0–60 mph takes just 2.5 seconds, with Porsche engineers suggesting real-world runs may dip below that. The car surges to 125 mph in 8.4 seconds and tops out at 200 mph, making it 14 seconds faster around the Nürburgring than the outgoing Turbo S.

Visually, the facelift brings subtle but purposeful changes. Enlarged front intakes, integrated lighting, and active shutters improve airflow and reduce drag by 10%. At the rear, new extractor vents and squared-off titanium exhaust tips emphasize the widened stance. Standard-fit carbon-ceramic brakes—the largest ever on a 911—provide immense stopping power, while exclusive “Turborite” wheels add distinction.

Inside, the 911 Turbo S mirrors the rest of the 992.2 lineup with a fully digital instrument cluster and subtle trim upgrades, though some may feel the cabin lacks the sense of occasion expected of a $200,000 supercar. Options such as carbon fiber aero kits, trim, and even wiper arms cater to those seeking extra exclusivity.
