Porsche 965 3.3 Turbo Polar silver

Succeeding the mythical 930 Turbo, the third generation of 911 Turbo was presented at the Geneva motor show in 1990 under the name of 964 Turbo, or unofficially « 965 ». It is taking the mechanical basis from its ancestor, the 930 3.3, and benefits from technical improvements pushing its power to 320 hp, still in single turbo. By the way, the 964 Turbo is the very last generation of 911 to be propelled by the only rear wheels with a single turbo, brutal and expressive, making all its success today.

Esthetically, Porsche equips the 964 Turbo with 17 inches wheels, a fixed rear spoiler and enlarged wings, giving a sexy line with soft and generous curves. Its suspensions are also shortened reinforcing its handling and its racy look. On the confort side, the 964 Turbo is clearly progressing compared to the previous generation, and has a very complete standard equipment, worthy of the most luxurious European GTs: leather seats and steering wheel, power steering, airbag, ABS, air conditionner, a new limited-slip differential, etc. Its road handling is greatly improved, providing a high-speed stability and a greater precision of the front axle.

Our 964 Turbo is presented with a lovely and very rare Polar silver metallic paint. Very uncommon on this generation of 911, this colour only has spread from the 993. Delivered new in France in 1992, the car has an up-to-date service book with invoices. Sold with a new clutch, the car will join its new owner with maintenance and appraisal.
