Porsche sets its sights on a hat-trick

#2 Porsche 919 Hybrid of Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb awaits scrutineering in the city centre of Le Mans 24H 2016

Amid much Paris-style razzmatazz, the ACO today announced the entrants for this year’s 24 Hour race. It goes without saying that last year’s winners, Porsche, will be carrying the numbers 1 and 2 once again this year as Porsche sets its sights on a hat-trick in 2017.

Porsche will be looking to defend not only its Le Mans crown in 2017, but also its FIA World Endurance Championship title. Today at its annual press conference in Paris, the FIA and ACO confirmed the entry of the two Porsche 919 Hybrids and the members of the new driver squad in an online press conference.
