This 2019 Porsche 935, listed on Bring a Trailer, is one of only 77 units produced as a tribute to the legendary 935 race car. Built exclusively for the track and not homologated for road use, it was introduced in 2018 during the Rennsport Reunion VI at Laguna Seca to mark Porsche’s 70th anniversary.
Based on the 991.2-generation 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, the 935/19 features lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork and design cues reminiscent of the iconic 935/78 “Moby Dick,” including its dramatic long tail and oversized rear wing. Underneath its aggressive exterior lies a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine delivering 700 horsepower, mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach 211 mph.
Number 13 of 77 was originally delivered to Portugal’s Algarve International Circuit in Portimão before being imported to Canada. There, it took part in events like the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Drive Festival hill climb and the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame Celebration of Speed.
From the factory, it came with exposed carbon-fiber bodywork wrapped for protection and features Agate Grey roof pillars. Exterior details include a front splitter, tow straps, LED headlights within the air intakes, fender louvers, a roof escape hatch, fixed windows, 911 RSR-style mirrors, and a large adjustable rear wing with a plaid Pfaff Motorsports wrap. Matte black BBS center-lock wheels wear Michelin slicks and house Brembo brakes with adjustable bias and electronic control over ABS and traction systems.
The car is fully FIA-compliant, equipped with a welded roll cage, roof escape hatch, fire-suppression system, and racing bucket seat with a six-point harness. The stripped-down interior features Alcantara and carbon fiber with racing elements like a quick-release steering wheel, pit limiter, and locking system.
