Over the past 75 years, Porsche has built countless iconic cars and milestones worth celebrating. To honor that legacy, the brand continues to release limited-production models inspired by its most beloved classics. Cars such as the 911 R, various Speedsters, and the original 997 Sport Classic have blended modern performance with vintage style.
The latest Sport Classic, now based on the 992 generation, brings together the most recognizable Porsche design elements with one of the most engaging drivetrains ever fitted to a 911. Its design cues include a 2.7 RS-style ducktail spoiler, Fuchs-inspired wheels, a double-bubble carbon-fiber roof, gold badging, and an early-style Porsche crest with bright red accents. Twin racing stripes run the length of the car, while the cabin features full leather trim, houndstooth fabric on the seats and doors, green-tinted gauges, and a numbered dash plaque.
Powered by a twin-turbo 3.7-liter flat-six producing 542 horsepower, the Sport Classic uses the Turbo’s widebody and chassis but sends power only to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. It also includes carbon-ceramic brakes, rear-axle steering, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Active Suspension Management, and a tuned exhaust system—all standard.
Currently offered for sale on Broad Arrow Private Sales, this 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic—number 1249 of 1,250 built—is finished in Paint to Sample Azzuro Thetys Metallic over a Black Heritage Design interior.
