FOR SALE: 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Weissach

Specified with the Weissach Package and additional options worth more than $21,000

The 991-generation GT2 RS, introduced in 2017, became the most powerful 911 ever built, featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine that produces 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring.

Capable of reaching 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph, the GT2 RS set a Nürburgring Nordschleife production-car lap record in September 2017 with Porsche test driver Lars Kern. The record-setting example featured the Weissach Package, a lightweight option that reduces overall mass by approximately 40 pounds through the use of carbon fiber panels, magnesium wheels, and other components.

Currently offered on Bring a Trailer is a Miami Blue 991 GT2 RS showing low mileage and specified with the Weissach Package. Additional options total more than $21,000. Weight reduction measures include carbon-fiber body components such as the hood, side mirrors, side intakes, fender vents, and the prominent rear wing.

The chassis is equipped with staggered 20- and 21-inch center-lock wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, Porsche Active Suspension Management, adjustable dampers, Porsche Stability Management, rear-axle steering, and a front-axle lift system. Braking is handled by standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with cross-drilled rotors and yellow calipers.

Inside, the cabin features a combination of leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber, accented with Platinum Gray stitching and Miami Blue details. Options include carbon-fiber bucket seats embroidered with the Weissach logo, Bose surround sound, self-dimming mirrors, aluminum pedals, illuminated sill covers, and the Sport Chrono Package. Performance features include an intercooler spray system, titanium exhaust, carbon-fiber engine cover, and an extended-range fuel tank.
