This 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, number 590 of 918 produced, showcases Porsche’s advanced approach to hybrid supercar performance. Introduced in 2010, the 918 combines a 608 HP 4.6L V8 with two electric motors delivering a combined 285 HP—one at each axle—for a total of three power sources.
It uses a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential. Built around a carbon fiber monocoque, it features adaptive suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and rear-axle steering. The car can operate in Electric Only, Hybrid, or Race Hybrid modes, offering exceptional control and performance, all the way up to its top speed of 217 mph.
This example, currently listed on Bring a Trailer, is finished in a $21,000 paint-to-sample Grey Black. The car features Porsche Active Aerodynamics, a backup camera, LED headlights, a lift system, and exposed carbon-fiber mirrors.
It rides on staggered 20″ front and 21″ rear magnesium wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The suspension setup includes double-wishbone front and multi-link rear components, PASM, rear steering, torque vectoring, and electro-mechanical power steering. Brakes are silver-painted calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors—410mm front, 390mm rear.
Inside, carbon-fiber bucket seats are trimmed in custom white leather with matching accents on the dash, doors, and steering wheel. Features include a Burmester sound system, navigation, Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, a 7″ touchscreen, and the Carbon-Fiber Interior Package with silver-striped seatbelts.
