FOR SALE: 1994 Porsche 911 (993) – Tuthill SCRS

The first example of just 15 Tuthill 911 SCRS

Offered through Collecting Cars, this example is the first completed example of just 15 Tuthill 911 SCRS builds, a limited run inspired by the 1974 IROC racers. Unlike many rare builds that remain unused, this example has been driven as intended, making it a rare opportunity to own one of the most desirable bespoke 911s in recent years.

Starting with a 1994 UK-market 993 Carrera, Tuthill stripped the car to its bare shell, strengthened the chassis, and fitted steel SC/RS-style arches with lightweight fibreglass bumpers. The result is  a car that delivers analogue driving experience while capturing the essence of early air-cooled 911s at the same time.

The 3.6-litre flat-six was rebuilt to 3.8 litres, producing over 330 bhp with upgrades including RS and Cup-spec components, Motec ECU, and a bespoke exhaust. Power is delivered through a rebuilt six-speed gearbox, 993 RS clutch plate, and a limited-slip differential.

Finished in Pascha Red with Stone Grey detailing, the SCRS features a whale-tail spoiler and 16-inch RSR Fuchs-style wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. The interior is entirely bespoke, trimmed in Ocean Green and Charcoal Grey leather with basketweave seat centres and a Savannah headlining. Recaro seats, a Tuthill carbon RS steering wheel, upgraded audio, and modern conveniences like air conditioning and central locking blend usability with motorsport-inspired design.

Mechanical enhancements include MCS adjustable suspension, Tuthill billet brake calipers, and lightweight ancillary systems. This example shows 9,400 miles since completion and comes with comprehensive Tuthill documentation and two keys.
