This 1991 RoW Porsche 964 Carrera 2 coupe, now offered on PCARMARKET, is the 33rd car fully reimagined as an “ST Backdate” by PS Automobile in Lippstadt, Germany. Their “964 ST Manufaktur” program begins with complete disassembly, followed by stripping the shell to bare metal, ice-blasting it, and hand-fitting steel fender flares that are welded and fully galvanized. A backdated hood, decklid, and carbon-fiber composite bumpers are then added to recreate the classic F-Body style.
Over roughly 12 months and about 1,900 labor hours, the car was restored from bare metal and reshaped with 1972 911 ST–inspired bodywork, including carbon-fiber bumpers and steel flares. It wears Graphite Grey paint over a custom Bentley Saddle leather cabin, featuring houndstooth-pattern Recaro buckets, an Alcantara headliner, and retro-styled instrumentation.
Power comes from a rebuilt air-cooled M64 flat-six upgraded with 3.8L Mahle pistons and cylinders, RSR-spec heads, a bespoke camshaft, revised ECU, and a dual exhaust with headers and 100-cell catalytic converters. An overhauled 5-speed G50 manual sends power to the rear wheels. The chassis is supported by a track-tuned Bilstein suspension and brakes sourced from the 993 Turbo with cross-drilled rotors.
