Singer Vehicle Design, founded in 2009 by former musician Rob Dickinson, has redefined Porsche 911 restoration by starting with the 964-generation model and transforming it into a high-performance tribute to earlier long-nose 911s.
This particular example, dubbed “Blueberry,” is a reimagined 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Targa. With over 4,500 hours of completion, the car retains its all-wheel-drive layout, powered by a fully rebuilt 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine featuring RS+ cams, a ceramic plenum, a titanium muffler, an Emtron ECU, and a six-speed manual transmission. Suspension upgrades include Öhlins adjustable dampers, while Brembo brakes—finished in Deep Orange with black text—ensure superior stopping power. The wheels are duo-tone with satin black centers and anodized rims.
The Blue Blood exterior is highlighted by ghosted racing stripes and matching orange details on the decklid and side script. Rare among Singer builds, this Targa model features a seam-welded body and Blue Black Stayfast canvas roof. The interior is wrapped in vibrant Orange leather with custom Dark Navy accents, including striped seat inserts, door trim, and dashboard elements. Lightweight carbon bucket seats reside up front, with folding seats in the rear.
Additional refinements include a bespoke Prototipo steering wheel, custom gauges with Singer Racing White faces and Blue Blood graphics, and a high-end audio system with Porsche Classic navigation, Apple CarPlay, Audison amp, and Dynaudio speakers.
The Blueberry Commission is currently listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, showing just 72 miles on the odometer since its completion, with 5 days remaining as of this writing.
