GT-Style, 3.2L-Powered 1975 Porsche 914

This 1975 Porsche 914 was modified over a period of about five years by a previous owner at a claimed cost of nearly $130k, with substantial work commissioned to John Forbes at Black Forest Racing.

The car wears GT-style flared fiberglass bodywork that has been painted in a Gulf-style livery, and the partially stripped interior was redone and features GTS bucket seats, harnesses, Rennline pedals, a MOMO-style steering wheel mounted on a quick-release hub, and an aftermarket shifter.

The car rides on 16″ Fuchs-style wheels and has uprated suspension and braking components, and the fuel-injected 3.2L flat-six was built with forged pistons, custom camshafts, ARP hardware, reworked heads, headers, and a Dansk muffler.

The engine is linked to a five-speed manual transaxle with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, and it has been driven ~2,200 miles since it was completed. The car was acquired by the owner in 2020, and it is now offered at no reserve by the seller on their behalf with records and and a Maryland title.
