This 1971 Porsche 911E Targa was acquired by the current owner in 2000 from their father, who purchased it in 1997. The car is finished in Burgundy over black leatherette and is powered by a replacement 2.2-liter flat-six equipped with dual PMO carburetors and linked with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle.
Equipment includes a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, front and rear bumperettes, 16″ Fuchs wheels, adjustable front seats, an AM/FM radio, and SSI heat exchangers.
This longhood 911E Targa is now offered by the seller on behalf of their spouse with service manuals, spare parts, and a clean Michigan title.
