The homologating foundation of the 911 GT3 race car, the updated 997.2-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS debuted in 2010 with improved aerodynamic bodywork, a 6-speed transmission with shorter gear ratios, and a new Mezger flat-six engine displacing 3.8 liters.

One of 541 examples built for the U.S., this 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was delivered new in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, finished in Grey Black with contrasting Guards Red accents.

It came equipped with the optional Front Axle Lift System, Sound Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package Plus, PCM 3.0 with extended navigation, and a lightweight battery. The car was exported to Europe in 2012 and purchased by its last owner in 2015, who installed an OEM Clubsport harness bar, European analog gauges, and OEM sport bucket seats with Porsche crest headrests.

Acquired by the seller and imported back to the U.S. in 2024, this GT3 RS is now being offered for auction with approximately 18k miles showing on the odometer.
