The first-generation Cayenne made its American debut for the 2003 model year. It was a hugely controversial model at launch, but it quickly won over skeptics with its unusual blend of on-road performance and off-road prowess.

The Transsyberia model was built to celebrate Porsche works Cayennes winning back-to-back Transsyberia Rallies in 2007 and 2008, with production limited to just 285 examples, with 102 being sent to the U.S. market. It notably featured the same higher-output V8 engine as the Cayenne GTS.

Power comes from a 4.8-liter V8, rated at 405 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Output is distributed to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.

This particular Cayenne S is especially desirable, as it’s one of only 285 Transsyberia models produced – so it notably boasts the more powerful V8 from the GTS and several other upgrades over the standard model.

It’s also finished in handsome black with eye-catching orange accents – and it features some great equipment like the Off-Road Technology Package and 21-inch SportPlus wheels. Plus, this Cayenne S Transsyberia comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax report, which always increases the appeal.
