2008 Porsche Cayenne S

The first-generation Cayenne made its hugely controversial American debut for the 2003 model year, and it quickly won over skeptics with its unusual blend of on-road performance and off-road prowess.

It was updated for 2008 with a new-look design and more technology, and it retired as the best-selling member of the Porsche range in 2010. Power comes from a 4.8-liter V8, rated at 385 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
