This 2005 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is #2 of a reported 10 examples that were built for the planned Belgian Porsche GT3 Road Challenge. It was sold new to driver Gerard Magniette’s Future World team, and was subsequently owned by rally driver Henri Schmelcher and an R Gruppe member before it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2022.
The car is finished in white with yellow and black livery and features a Kevlar decklid as well as polycarbonate windows, 18″ GT3 wheels, and cross-drilled disc brakes with adjustable bias. Power comes from a 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six linked with a six-speed manual transaxle. Inside, the stripped cockpit features a full roll cage as well as a pair of Sparco fixed-back seats, LTEC harnesses, a fire suppression system, a Coralba rally timer, an in-car radio, and carbon-fiber door panels.
This 996 GT3 RS Road Challenge has 13k kilometers (~8,200 miles) and is now offered in Belgium with factory literature, a Royal Automobile Club of Belgium logbook, articles about the car, and Dutch registration.
