  • Rear Wing & Aerodynamic Aids

The 356C represents the final evolution of Porsche’s original sports car, introduced for 1964 with four-wheel disc brakes, improved suspension, and reinforced synchronizer rings for its 4-speed manual transaxle.

This 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe is refinished in Irish Green over tan upholstery and has been upgraded with a 1,720cc “big bore” kit, SC camshafts, Solex carburetors, lowered suspension, Koni shocks, a Leistritz muffler, and more. The third owner acquired the car in March 1967 for $2,750, shortly after becoming a devoted PCA member.

It served as a daily driver for a decade before being stored for nearly 20 years, then underwent a three-year ground-up restoration beginning in 1999 by the late renowned restorer Gary Kempton. Following its sale in 2021, Porsche specialist Canepa performed a full mechanical and cosmetic inspection, road test, and a 100-hour concours-level detailing of the exterior, interior, and undercarriage.

Accompanied by comprehensive documentation, this numbers-matching, beautifully presented example is available for auction out of Pennsylvania.
