Jay Gillotti has been immersed in motorsport history since high school, when he worked at his father’s VW-Audi dealership and became captivated by Porsche after seeing Steve McQueen’s Le Mans. A longtime Porsche Club of America member and contributor to Panorama, Jay has written for and collaborated on books with Michael Keyser, Christopher Hilton, Brian Redman, and Ryan Snodgrass. His acclaimed work Gulf 917 reflects over three decades of research into Porsche’s golden age of sports car racing. Based near Seattle, Jay continues to share his passion for Porsche history through writing, speaking, and archival research.
