Singer Vehicle Design has grown from a small Los Angeles workshop into a globally respected company, operating in both the US and UK and building meticulously crafted, reimagined air-cooled Porsche 911s. Their approach—restoring 964-generation cars with styling inspired by pre-1973 models and modern supercar-level performance—has earned widespread acclaim from enthusiasts, media, and collectors alike.
Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 coupe, known as the “Fillmore” commission, showcases Singer’s craftsmanship. It is finished in paint-to-sample Pure Gunmetal with ghost stripes and nickel-plated trim, paired with a custom Turmeric leather interior.
The body features lightweight carbon fiber panels, including the fenders, bumpers, hood, roof, and rear decklid. Distinctive details include external fuel and oil filler caps, nickel-plated bumperettes, a gold Singer badge, bi-xenon headlights, bullet mirrors, and a retractable rear spoiler with a tinted acrylic screen.
Inside, it features Recaro sport seats with leather-weave inserts, woven leather trim throughout, square-weave carpeting, and matte black drilled pedals. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, and a Porsche Classic navigation system. A Momo Prototipo steering wheel and an 11,000-rpm tachometer with an orange dial highlight the driver-focused cabin.
Power comes from an Ed Pink-built 4.0-liter flat-six with individual throttle bodies, paired with a 6-speed manual and limited-slip differential. Öhlins adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, and 17-inch Fuchs-style wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires complete the package.
