This is a 1977 Porsche 911 Coupe, finished in blue and black with a black interior. Extensively modified for racing, this coupe is powered by a 964-generation 911-sourced air-cooled flat-6 engine fitted with a Mahle 3.8-liter piston and cylinder kit, according to documents pictured in the gallery.

The list of modifications reported by the seller also includes a MoTeC M600 engine management system, a Fuel Safe Systems fuel cell, Brembo front and rear brakes, a Sparco Pro 2000 driver’s seat, an 8-point roll cage, and a fire suppression system.

Porsche unveiled the 911 at the 1963 Frankfurt auto show to replace the 356. Initially offered only as a coupe, the brand’s second production model featured streamlined styling and a rear-mounted air-cooled flat-6 engine. Porsche made several visual and mechanical updates to the 911 in the 1960s and the 1970s and notably leveraged its vast racing expertise to dial in more performance. These relatively early variants helped turn the 911 into the icon it’s widely recognized as today.

Power comes from a 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-6. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
