Modified 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo

This 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo is a US-market car that was purchased new through the Tourist Delivery program in Venice, Italy. Wrapped in Viola Metallic paint protection film over black leather, the car is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle.

Features include the M471 sport suspension package as well as a K26 turbocharger, a Bell intercooler, a Norgren boost controller, a SPEC Stage 2+ clutch, 16″ Fuchs-style wheels, an IFC Racing body kit, pop-up headlights, a 944 hood and rear spoiler, a sunroof, a European-specification rear bumper cover, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.

Following a period in long-term storage, it was first sold on BaT in June 2019, and was sold again on BaT in May 2020 before being modified in the style of a 924 Carrera GT and sold a third time on BaT in July 2023. The car was listed on BaT in October 2024 and was acquired by the current owner later that year.

Work performed in 2025 included rebuilding the engine, replacing the clutch, and installing the wrap. This modified 924 Turbo shows 55k miles and is offered on dealer consignment in North Carolina with an owner’s manual, tool and tire-inflation kits, service records, and a clean Montana title.
