2.7L-Powered 1970 Porsche 914 5-Speed Race Car

This 1970 Porsche 914 was converted to a race car under prior ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2010. It is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six equipped with dual Weber carburetors and linked with a five-speed manual transaxle and a Guard limited-slip differential.

The car has been repainted gray over a black interior and rides on 16″ Enkei wheels with Bilstein shocks, adjustable sway bars, and upgraded brakes with a dual master cylinder and adjustable bias. Additional equipment includes a removable Targa top, a roll cage, a Racetech driver’s seat with harnesses, an OMP quick-release steering wheel, a fire suppression system, a fuel cell, and exhaust headers.

Work in 2025 involved rebuilding the gearbox, installing a transaxle cooler, and replacing the clutch and flywheel. This 914 is now offered with recent service records, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
