1988 Porsche 924S Special Edition

This 1988 Porsche 924S is one of 500 Special Edition examples produced for the US market and is said to have remained in the care of its original owner and their family until being acquired by the seller in 2021. It subsequently underwent a multi-year refurbishment by the seller that involved retrimming the interior, replacing various engine components, and overhauling the steering, suspension, brake, fuel, and ignition systems.

Finished in black, the car is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle and rides on 15″ phone-dial wheels coupled with disc brakes at all four corners. Inside, 2+2 seating trimmed in gray patterned cloth and vinyl are accompanied by a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo. Further equipment includes pop-up headlights, a rear spoiler, and an aluminum radiator.

This Special Edition 924S is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, refurbishment photos, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
