Twin-Plug RoW 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupe

This 1977 Porsche Carrera 3.0 coupe is a European-market example that was acquired by an American serviceman in Germany and subsequently imported to the US in the 1980s. The 3.0-liter flat-six was fitted with a twin-plug ignition system as part of a 2021 rebuild, and the car was sold on BaT in January 2023.

Work since has involved installing a Clewett Engineering electronic fuel injection setup with individual throttle bodies, rebuilding the five-speed manual transaxle, and installing a Wavetrac differential, an Elephant Racing suspension kit, and an oil cooler.

Inside, the front sport seats and individual rear seats have been re-trimmed in black with patterned inserts, the dash has been recovered, and the cabin has been equipped with an electric air conditioning system, a MOMO steering wheel, a RennShift shifter, and a Rennline pedal set and floor boards. The car rides on refurbished 16″ Fuchs wheels and has a revised four-disc brake setup, a whale-tale spoiler, a sunroof, and RS-style door panels.

This Carrera 3.0 is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean Utah title.
