Finished in Grand Prix White over a Black interior, this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was originally configured for the RoW market and was imported to the U.S. in October 1984. Under previous ownership in 1995, it was modified with wide 930 Turbo-style bodywork and a Stage 3 turbocharged 3.3-liter engine by Protomotive Engineering of Winchester, California.

The custom flat-six is claimed to produce up to 580 HP with high-end upgrades including a Garrett turbocharger, a full-width intercooler, an electronically controlled HKS wastegate, twin fuel pumps, and a stainless-steel exhaust. This 911 also features a rebuilt and reinforced 4-speed manual transaxle, cross-drilled brake discs, 17” Compomotive three-piece wheels, a DP rear wing, reupholstered leather Sport Seats, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped roll bar.

Acquired by the current owner in 2015 after being treated to a comprehensive engine rebuild with new Mahle pistons and cylinders, this turbocharged Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Michigan.
