The Buenos Aires Commission A modern icon born from Porsche’s air-cooled golden era, this 1995 911 Speedster has been completely reimagined by Gunther Werks as part of their ultra-limited, 25-unit “Speedster Remastered” series.
Known as the Buenos Aires Commission, this build represents the pinnacle of analog performance merged with state-of-the-art engineering and coachwork. At its core is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six built by Rothsport Racing—featuring individual throttle bodies, billet internals, GT3-spec intake plenum, and twin-map Motec engine management—producing over 430 bhp at 7,800 rpm. Power is routed through a specially tuned Getrag G50 6-speed manual transaxle with custom ratios and a limited-slip differential, making for an unfiltered, razor-sharp driving experience. Handling is equally bespoke, thanks to Gunther Werks-designed suspension arms, a widened front track, active damping coilovers by JRZ, upgraded bushings, and race-derived geometry. A front axle lift system adds real-world usability to this otherwise track-capable setup. The carbon-fiber bodywork is twice as stiff as a standard 993, with dramatic wide-body proportions, no side windows, a cut-down windscreen, and an integrated carbon roll hoop that pays homage to Porsche’s Speedster lineage.
Finished in stealthy black with dark bronze center-lock wheels, Black Edition headlights, LED tails, and nickel-finished accents, this Speedster looks every bit as menacing as it is precise. Inside, the cabin blends classic 911 elements with obsessive Gunther Werks craftsmanship—black leather carbon-shelled seats, five-piece carbon floor paneling, and countless bespoke details surround the driver. The car shows just 7 miles, offering a rare opportunity to skip the multi-year build queue and acquire a virtually new, fully bespoke Gunther Werks masterpiece—an air-cooled Porsche Speedster for the modern age.
