1969 Porsche 911E Coupe

Classified Details

Vehicle Details

For the final model year in 1969, the original 2.0-powered Porsche 911 underwent major updates, including an extended wheelbase for improved handling and the introduction of the new mid-range 911E variant, which featured Bosch mechanical fuel injection borrowed from the 911S. This Porsche 911E is one of approximately 1,968 coupes produced for the worldwide market in 1969 and was delivered new in San Francisco, California.

It comes finished in Tangerine over a black interior and equipped with a 5-speed manual transaxle, Koni shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, aluminum rocker and deco trim, chrome bumperettes, and leather bucket seats. The car was passed down to the current owner from his father, who had used it sparingly as a weekend driver in California, and it has been kept mostly in storage for the past several years.

Accompanied by the original owner’s manuals, stamped maintenance book, and a California license plate showing years of unbroken registration, this 911E Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut.
