Recently, Feuerbach is making waves after announcing the arrival of the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe which will be based on the Porsche 911 (997) GT3. Feuerbach Designworks Ltd was founded by Ferdinand Porsche’s grandson and former Nissan Europe designer Christopher Reitz back in 2019.
Feuerbach will be using a 4.3-liter naturally aspirated engine with 540 hp (397 kW) for the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe. They will also be offering a more powerful version using the same engine, matched with a 6-speed manual or PDK gearbox.
To compare, the original Porsche 911 (997) GT3 has a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine with 435 hp (320kW) and 317 lb-ft (430Nm) of torque matched with a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds and has a recorded top speed of 194 mph (312 kph).
Reitz designed the carbon body of the GTL Coupe, and they gave it unique LED taillights and replaced the base rear window with a new bonnet. It was also given new front and rear panels, a new bumper, and a carbon diffuser. They will be using the same GT3 chassis though customers will also be given the freedom to customize their cars.
In the sample pictures that were released by Feuerbach, it showed the interior upholstered in black leather and fabric, with matching black dashboard with white stitching. Carbon door panels could also be seen. There are also a lot of other design features that the customers can customize.
The GTL Couple can also be specified with a roll cage, racing brakes, suspension, wheels, and competition-spec seats and harnesses.
Price for the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe is expected to start at $550,000 before any bespoke customer options and local taxes.
